Some days one just needs to pick a bouquet from their garden and paint it. The coneflower and daisies were prolific this year. This painting was awarded artistic merit by renowned artist Lian Quan Zhen in the Central New York Watercolor Society 2019 Juried Members Exhibit.
Judy knew from the beginning that art was her passion and her place in the world. “I see beauty in our world and try to convey that with brush, paint and paper. My medium is watercolor and I express with it in an energetic, bold manner. Art is a form of communication and by painting my world and having others feel the beauty I feel, we have shared a moment together and that is a wonderful thing.” Life has taken Judy to the Northern and the Southern parts of the United States, all the while pursuing her passion of art.
