Judy is an award winning watercolor artists that teaches private watercolor lessons in her home studio as well as traveling to teach watercolor workshops. She is a popular instructor with an enthusiasm for the medium that is contagious.
Judy graduated from The New England School of Art and Design in Boston Massachusetts. Along with working as a freelance illustrator and designer for many years, she also taught as an instructor of figure drawing and textile rendering at The New England School of Fashion Design in Boston.
During Judys art career she has participated in consecutive juried annual open studio with with WLAST, (Western Loudoun Artist Studio Tour). She also was a founding member of a regional art group called, CHAT (Cactoctin Holiday Art Tour) which has become an important cultural contribution to the community.
She has served as President of the Cazenovia Watercolor Society for two terms, is an active member of numerous plein air groups where she paints weekly in the Adirondacks. She joins CazArts in promoting the arts in her community. Judy holds gold medallion level signature status with the Central New York Watercolor Society and volunteers to chair on the Board of Directors.
